1971 Laverda 750SF Cases

This page’s only function is to present a thorough look at the engine cases of a Laverda 750, in this case #6349, a first generation SF model built in the summer of 1971. There are times when I find it would be very helpful to have clear photos of this type when I’m reading discussions of how things work (or not) inside the engine. The cases have been run through a degreaser at a machine shop, then soda blasted, then washed with soap and water twice, once in the bathtub and once at the carwash. I thought about having them vapor blasted but decided against it because I thought they might become too shiny. I might have been wrong.
